I am an amatuer nature photographer from NW Ohio, and most of the photos on this site were taken locally. In fact, many were taken in my modest suburban backyard.
Converting lawn into a combination of native trees, shrubs, vines and perennials has been very successful in attracting both resident and migrant avian species, along with a wide variety of insects.
